Ann L. Greth

Ann L. Greth, 77, formerly of Wyomissing, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024, in the care of Reading Hospital. She shared a marriage of 48 years with Donald W. Greth.

Born in Reading to the late Angelo and Pearl (Reichert) Stella, Ann graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1964. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church of West Reading.

She worked for many years at Luden's before taking a position with Palmer Chocolate. For over 30 years she worked in distribution, retiring in her early 70's as the Distribution Supervisor. For several years she assisted on a part-time basis during Palmer's busy season.

Ann was a kind and giving woman. She enjoyed sewing and reading. During their younger years, she and Don traveled extensively, including to Israel and multiple trips to the Caribbean and Bermuda.

Ann's memory will be treasured by her husband, Don, their son, Bradley A. Greth of Wyomissing, and grandson, Austin B. Greth who resides with his mother, Linda (Conover) Greth, in Reading. Ann is also survived by her brother, Kenneth M. Stella, widower of Rose, of Salem, OR; her sister, Suzanna Evanna of Reading; and her nephews, Eugene Evanna, Vincent Evanna (Michelle), Michael Evanna (Donna Brubaker), and Kenneth Stella.

In addition to her parents, Ann was predeceased by her brother, Charles Stella.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ann's memory may be offered to her church, Sacred Heart Church, 740 Cherry St, West Reading, PA 19611, or a charity of choice.

A Prayer Service for Ann will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Gethsemane Cemetery's Chapel of St. George, 3139 Kutztown Rd, Reading, PA 19605, with entombment to follow. The visitation will be held on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc, 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading, PA 19611.
