Ann R. Boyd

Ann R. Boyd, 89, passed away January 9, 2014 in The Highlands at Wyomissing.

Her husband, John B. Boyd, died February 12, 2001.

Born June 26, 1924, in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late George and Anna Cheripka.

Ann was a graduate of St. Clair High School, St. Clair.

She worked as a legal secretary until her retirement.

Ann was an avid bridge player and was a Senior Life Master.

She was a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God, West Lawn.

Ann is survived by her two children: Sandra L., wife of Joseph Stagliano, Springfield, and Jack W., husband of Terri A. Boyd, Bethlehem. Also surviving are her brother, Andrew, husband of Joan Cheripka, Harrisburg; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her brothers: George, John, and Michael.

A celebration of life will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Glad Tidings Assemble of God, 1110 Snyder Rd., West Lawn, PA 19609. Burial will be private in Indiantown Gap.
