Anita Louise Steiner

Anita Louise Steiner, 89, of Mohnton, passed away on January 28, 2026. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of Robert and Catherine (Rickert) Neher. Anita was the loving wife of Kenneth C. Steiner, Sr., until his passing in 2023.

Anita was a 1954 graduate of Mt. Penn High School. She worked in production and assembly for Western Electric and Lucent Technologies. She attended Akron Community Church with her family.

Some of her happiest moments were spent camping with her grandchildren and Pagoda Campers Club and peacefully watching birds and deer from her window. She enjoyed visiting the Cayman Islands and traveling around with the Jim Beam Bottle Collectors Club.

She is survived by her sons, Robert Miller (Beverly), of Mohnton, and Jeffrey Steiner, Sr. (Traci), of Virginia. Also surviving are her step-children, Kenneth C. Steiner, Jr. (Sharon) of Bowmansville and Karl Steiner (Christine), of Alabama. She will be missed by her ten grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

Anita was predeceased by her son, Brian Miller, step-daughter, Judith Surkin, and sisters, Gloria Seyler and Cynthia Klymchuk.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of sending flowers, those wishing to honor Anita’s memory may make a memorial donation to the charity of their choice.
