Anita B. Reuben

Anita B. Reuben, 86, died January 4, 2008 in The Highlands at Wyomissing.

Her husband, Sydney Reuben died in September of 1993.

Born in NY, NY, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Etta (Greenspan) Berger.

She was a graduate of Reading High School.

Mrs. Reuben was the CFO of Singer Equipment Company for 25 years, retiring in September of 1999 and previously was the treasurer for Beryllium Corporation.

She was a charter and life member of the Friends of Reading Hospital and Medical Center.

She was a member of Congregation Oheb Shalom, Wyomissing.

Survivors include two sons, Dr. Mark S. husband of Deanna L. Reuben, Wyomissing and Dr. Michael A. Reuben husband of Dr. Barbara Levin, Los Angeles, CA; and one daughter, Marcia S. Reuben, Collegeville. There is one brother, Fred Berger, Boca Grande, FL and one sister, Ruth Pokrass, Carpenteria, CA. One granddaughter, Blakely Reuben, Philadelphia, two step grandchildren and four step great grandchildren also survive her.

Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial will be private in Mt. Sinai Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Penn State Children's Hospital 500 University Drive Hershey, PA 17033.
