Anita M. Minnich

Anita M. Minnich, 95 formerly of Shoemakersville died May 21 in the Laurel Center, Tilden Township where she had resided the past 3 years. She was the widow of Roy R. Minnich who died May 3, 1970. Anita was born in Jensen, Florida and was the daughter of the late James and Frances (McBerney) Baxter. She last worked for Miller's Underwear Factory, Shoemakersville as a folder for 29 years from where she retired. Anita was a member of the Shoemakersville Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and the Pikeville Sports Association. Anita is survived by 1 daughter, Barbara wife of Russell Grumbine, West Lawn, 1 son, Robert A. Boyer, York, 2 grandchildren, Carl Koehn, West Lawn and Kevin husband of Crystal Koehn, Hamburg and a step grandson, Thomas R. Grumbine, Birdsboro. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild. She was predeceased by her sister, Delma B. Luckenbill. A memorial service will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM from the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc. Hamburg, PA. Burial will follow in Zion's Cemetery, Perry Township.
