Anita L. Harding

Anita Louise (Hoffman) Harding, 66, of Muhlenberg Township, went to be with her Lord and reunite with her son on April 15, 2008.

Born July 19, 1941 in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth Menno Hoffman and Etta Mae (Scheller) Hoffman.

She was a 1959 graduate of Liberty High School, Bethlehem.

Anita was an active member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Laureldale.

After her children were grown, Anita worked at the former Camp Hosiery and later at the former JetSort Company.

She is survived by two daughters; Ann Marie (Harding) wife of Robert L. Miller, Jr., of Muhlenberg Township and Sharon L. Harding of Reading.

Other survivors include two sisters; Marie M. (Hoffman) wife of Birdine L. Remaley and Marietta M. Hoffman, all of Whitehall.

There is also a grandson surviving; Robert L. Miller III of Muhlenberg Township.

She was predeceased by a son, Eugene M. Harding Jr., who died May 10, 1981 and a sister, Dolly Hoffman.

Anita was a very devoted and loving mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by her family.

Services will be Friday at 11:00 am in Calvary Lutheran Church, 1009 Elizabeth Avenue, Laureldale, PA 19605, with the Rev. Grant Wickert officiating. A viewing will be held in the church, one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township.
