Anita E. Gundersen

Anita E. Gundersen, 81, formerly of Bernville, passed away on Monday, April 11, 2022, at Country Meadows, Wyomissing. She was the wife of the late Allan A. Gundersen. They shared many wonderful years together until his passing in 1995.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Ruth (Lawson) Pildis. Anita graduated from Ridley Township High School in 1958. She was employed as a secretary for both Morgan Stanley and Frederick Reigle Attorney at Law each for five years after Allan's passing.

Anita was a member of St. Thomas Church, Bernville.

She loved her family, her children and her grandchildren. Survivors include her four children: Edward (Tracy) of Sinking Spring; Paul (Sharon) of Sinking Spring; Robert (Jennifer) of Exeter Twp.; and Ruthann Woll (Douglas) of Bernville; and eight grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Alex, Connor, Sydney, Lexie, Taylor, Bella, and Brady.

A visitation with the Gundersen family will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2022, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. with services to begin at 2 p.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Burial at Berks County Memorial Gardens will be private. Contributions may be made to The Michael J.
