Aniela Kowal

Aniela Kowal, 71, of Clarksburg, NJ, formerly of Mount Penn and Wyomissing died July 17, 2009 in the Centra State Medical Center, Freehold, NJ.

She was married January 13, 1968 to the late Joseph Kowal, Sr., who died December 28, 2008.

Born April 6, 1938, in Poland, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Eva (Balik) Indyk.

She was employed by the Berkshire Knitting Mill and by Camp Hosiery.

Aniela is survived by a son, Peter A., husband of Bari M. (Bialos) Kowal of Clarksburg, New Jersey.

Other survivors include three grandchildren: Tyler, Madison and Reese Kowal.

She was predeceased by a son, Joseph Kowal, who died November 3, 1992.

Aniela was also predeceased by four siblings: Stanley Indyk, Anthony Indyk, Maria Tyinka and Jozefa Futyma.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:00 am in Holy Guardian Angels R.C. Church, Hyde Park. Viewings will be held Wednesday 6:00 - 7:30 pm and Thursday 9:00 - 9:30 am in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
