Angeline M. Gasser, 92 years of Alsace Township, passed away Friday, July 15, 2011 in Manor Care of Laureldale after a three week stay.
Born in Clearfield, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Guiseppe and Nunziata (Ettaro) Giamo.
Her husband, Wayne L. Gasser, died in 1999. She owned and operated Gasser's Golf Driving Range & Miniature Golf along with her husband from 1970 until 1999.
Angeline is survived by a daughter, Nancy (Gasser) Cawley (wife of Wayne); Granddaughter Kelly (Cawley) Williamson (wife of Dr. Joshua); Kelly's children Josey, Tetje, Luke and Stella; and Grandson Adam Cawley.
She is also survived by her niece Nancy (Giamo) Ache (wife of Dave). Also, a great-nephew, Jeffrey Ache; and great-nieces Dr. Andrea Ache-Witmer (wife of Rock), her children Alexander and Sara; and Melissa (Ache) Shelley (wife of Robert) and her son Matthew.
Angeline was predeceased by her sister Mildred (Giamo) Pociechowski and four brothers: Sebastian, Anthony, John and Samuel Giamo.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Gethsemane Cemetery, Chapel of the Ressurection Mausoleum on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at 11:30 am. Entombment in the Mausoleum will follow services. Friends and family may view on Saturday from 9:30 – 10:30 am in the Blankenbiller Funeral Home, 423 Main Street, Oley. Procession to the mausoleum for services to follow the viewing at the funeral home.
