Angela M. Garcia Vazquez

Angela M. Garcia Vazquez, 52 of Reading died December 28 in Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, Bronx, NY. of natural causes.

She was the wife of Lloyd E. Stroman.

Born in Santiago, Dominican Republic, she was the daughter Ana Rita Vazquez, Dominican Republic and the late Enrique Garcia.

She was a teacher in the Dominican Republic for a number of years. Later, she owned a store at 10th and Green in Reading.

Garcia Vazquez was a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

She is also survived by two sons, Juan Baltista Polanco and Jose Enrique Polanco, both of Bern Township and one daughter Esther (Polanco) Torres, Reading. Other survivors include five brothers, Jose Enrique Garcia, NY, NY, Danilo Garcia, San Juan, Puerto Rico, Jose Maria Garcia, Spain, Porfidio and Rafel Garcia, Dominican Republic. There are also six sisters, Rosa Delia Vazquez Garcia, and Ana Mercedes Garcia, both of Reading, and Victoria Garcia, Carmen Rosa Garcia, Hermania Garcia and Lourdes Garcia all of the Dominican Republic. Other survivors include 2 grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Peter's Church. Burial in Berks County Memorial Gardens. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements. Friends may call Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the funeral home.
