Angela V. Mollica, 100, formerly of Wyomissing, passed away April 27, 2013 in Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem.
She was the wife of Joseph Mollica who died July 1, 2003.
Born February 6, 1913, in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Vincent and Nunziatta (Vazzano) Vispico.
Angela was employed as a seamstress with David Crystal and Ves-Pico Uniform Center, Reading, which was owned by her brother, Vincent Vespico.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading, where she sang in the choir, was in the rosary group and was a long time member of the Sacred Heart Society. She was also a longtime member of Catholic Women's Club.
Surviving is her daughter, Antonina M. "Nina" (Mollica), wife of William Kulp, III, of Allentown.
Other survivors include her five grandchildren: Christopher Kulp; Catherine Kulp; Michael, husband of Katie Kulp; Marianne Kulp and Andrew Kulp and a great grandson, Chase Kulp.
In addition, she is survived by a sister-in-law, Helen Vespico of Lancaster; nieces and nephews, Robert Vespico, Atty. Kathleen Gray, John Vespico, Vincent Vespico, Jr., Cristie Czarick, Dany Vespico, Richard Gitto and Andrienne Periandi; many great nieces and nephews and cousins, Nina Mollica and Jennie Libertini.
Angela was predeceased by her three siblings: Sebastian and Vincent Vespico and Mary Schellhammer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, 740 Cherry St., West Reading, PA 19611. A viewing will be held from 8:30--9:30 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
