Angela Rose Santano

Angela Rose Santano, 72, of Reading, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Spruce Manor in Reading.

Born on February 14, 1951 in Manhattan, New York, she was the daughter of Angelo Santano and Mamie Lula Hatcher.

Angela called Puerto Rico her home for 53 years and loved it like it was her own island. She expertly cooked Puerto Rican cuisine and shared with all. Despite her feisty Italian attitude, she was very helpful and lent a hand to anybody in need.

Angela is survived by her children: Alfredo Santano, of Orlando, FL; Norberto Navia, of Ocala, FL; and Angela R. Navia, of Reading, PA. She leaves behind her loving grandchildren: Sashenka, Jay-Jay, Ivelisse, Jadelisse, Nicol, Norberto Jr., Antonia (Annie), Henry, Ninoshka, Joshua, and Jeannie Liz. Angela is predeceased by her sisters: Antonia Santano and Judy Hatcher.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
