Andrew John Wardenski

Andrew J. Wardenski, 95, formerly of Beckersville, died November 9, 2013 in ManorCare, Laureldale.

He was the widower of Hettie E. (Miller) Wardenski.

Born on October 7, 1918 in Reading, he was a son of the late Walter and Mary (Frankowiak) Wardenski.

Andrew was a foreman of Firestone Tire and Rubber Company for 35 years.

He was a lifetime member of Sleepy Hallow Athletic Club, Beckersville. He was also a pool manager for over 20 years and the manager and first baseman for the semi pro West Reading Cowboys.

Surviving are three children: Andrea W., wife of Michael H. Moore, Alsace Township, Audrey J., wife of Ted A. Hartz, Green Hills, and Andrew J. Wardenski, Jr., Beaumont, CA.

Other survivors include five grandchildren: Timothy Hartz, husband of Marcia, Kimberly, wife of Walter Eck, Zachary Moore, husband of Lindsay, Tyler Wardenski, and Kirby Wardenski. There are also five great grandchildren: Olivia and Adam Hartz, Stacia Musser and Beckham and Pierson Moore surviving.

Andrew was predeceased by his siblings: Francis Mountz, Anna Beaulieu, Walter Wardenski, and John Wardenski.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
