Andrew F. Tazik, 85, died May 12 at 4:21 a.m. in his Robeson Township residence.
He was the husband of Dolores A. (Ehrmann) Tazik.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late John and Katherine (Gurcak) Tazik.
Tazik had been employed for more than 28 years as an electrician by Western Electric Co., later Lucent Technologies Inc., Muhlenberg Township, retiring Feb. 19, 1985.
He was a member of St. Benedict's Roman Catholic Church, Plowville, where he served as an usher.
Tazik was a Navy veteran of World War II.
He was a trustee of Sleepy Hollow Athletic Club, Mohnton.
Tazik is also survived by three sons: Michael A., Morgantown; and John R. and Paul J., both of Mohnton; and three daughters: Andrea M. (Tazik) Sessions and Mary G. (Tazik) Golder, both of Escondido, Calif., and Christina M. (Tazik) More, Laytonsville, Md.
Other survivors include a sister, Alberta (Tazik) McNeill, Elverson, Chester County.
There are also nine grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a son, Andrew P., on March 30, 1989.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at noon in St. Benedict's Church. Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Township. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
