Andrew M. Crawford

Andrew "Drew" Michael Crawford, 27, passed away surrounded by his loving family on January 13, 2025.

Born on January 21, 1997, Drew grew up in Reading, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Wilson High School in 2015. He went on to earn his Bachelor's degree from Temple University in 2019.

A Philadelphia resident, Drew worked tirelessly in the operating room as a Medical Device Sales Rep; a profession he loved deeply. Despite his busy schedule, he cherished frequent visits back to Reading to spend time with his family and reconnect with his roots.

Drew had a vibrant and adventurous spirit, filling his life with ice hockey (a devoted Philadelphia Flyers fan), concerts, and traveling to new places. Above all, he enjoyed creating memories with family and friends, who were the center of his world. Known for his positive attitude and his contagious laugh, Drew had an extraordinary gift for bringing light to every room he entered. His unwavering desire to protect and support his loved ones will forever be remembered.

He is survived by his loving father, Doug Crawford; his devoted mother, Lisa (Marrella) Wortman; his stepfather, Dan Wortman; his sister, Amanda Crawford; and his brother, Alex Wortman, husband of Trisha Wortman. He will also be missed by his grandparents, Jack and Barbara Crawford; uncles Roger Crawford, Robert Marrella, and David Marrella; as well as his cousins, Vincent Marrella and Christopher Marrella, husband of Meredith Marrella. Drew is also survived by his cherished nephews, River Wortman and Miles Marrella. He was preceded by his grandparents Leonard (Gene) and Ann Marrella, and his uncle, Michael Marrella.

Drew's legacy is one of kindness, joy, and love, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 17, from 5-8 pm at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home in West Reading. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at 10:00 am at St. Ignatius Loyola Church, 2600 St. Albans Drive, Sinking Spring , PA, with burial to follow at Gethsemane Cemetery.
