Andrea Lynne Hook

Andrea Lynne (Hartung) Hook, 39, died January 13, 2013 in Hahnemann University Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

She was the wife of Jason M. Hook.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of Ana A. (Sanchez) Hartung, Shillington and the late James E. Hartung.

She was a graduate of Wilson High School in 1991.

Andrea loved her pets, gardening, and taking small trips with Jason and Brayden. She was a very generous person, always looking to do things for others.

Family was of utmost importance to her, she was very close to her parents and brothers, and loved kids, in particular spending time with her nieces and nephews. Above all, Andrea loved being with her husband and son.

She was the loving mother of Brayden James Hook, age 6, at home. Her brothers, James M., husband of Stacey Hartung, Shillington; and Daniel J., husband of Hilary Hartung, Harrisburg also survive her.

A visitation will be held Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 12:30 p.m. in St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
