Andrea M. Helm

Andrea M. (Zielinski) Helm, 66, of Centre Township, passed away peacefully June 21, 2018, at Neighborhood Hospice, West Chester.

Her husband, Richard W. Helm, died on December 3, 1997. They married on May 12, 1972.

Born in Braddock, PA, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Helen (Blasik) Zielinski.

She was a graduate of Swissvale High School, Pittsburgh and University of Pittsburgh where she received a degree in dental hygiene.

Andrea was employed by Dr. Richard Keenan as a dental hygienist last working October, 2016.

She enjoyed many things including: concerts with friends, a love of reading, the sights and sounds of her "farmette" life and being an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Most importantly she adored her two grandsons, Blake and Liam who knew her as "Trixie".

Andrea is survived by her daughter Alyssa M. (Matthew P.) Buckley, Downingtown and their children Blake and Liam Buckley. She had two siblings: the late Lorraine (Matthew) Trcic, North Versailles, PA and Paul (Sherry) Zielinski, Harrisburg; her sister-in-law, Susan (Robert) Kearney, Wexford, PA; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Monday, June 25, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
