André M. Lichau, 86, of Spring Twp., passed away November 26, 2008 in Mifflin Center.

He was the loving husband of Anna M. (D'Agostino) Lichau.

Born in Bordeaux, France, he was the son of the late John and Rose M. Lichau.

A U.S. Army veteran, serving in Northern France during World War II.

André was a store manager for Nichols Department Store and Weis Markets retiring in 2001.

He is survived by a son Anthony Davis of Mohnton and two daughters, Rosemary, wife of Steven Gaul of Bernville and Andrea Stetler of Atlanta, GA; one grandson, David, husband of Robin Hoyer of North Carolina and four great-grandchildren, Liberty, Joseph, Samantha, and Emily. Other survivors include,a sister-in-law, Josephine D'Agostino, a nephew, Mark D'Ago stino, husband of Alegria D'Agostino, and a great nephew, Michael.

Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Friends may call one hour prior to the services in the funeral home. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery on Monday at 10 a.m. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
