Ana A. Sanchez-Hartung

Ana A. Sanchez-Hartung, 73, of Reading, passed away July 31, 2018, at ManorCare, Sinking Spring.

She was the widow of James E. Hartung.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Venancio and Mary (Zampelli) Sanchez.

She was a graduate of Reading Central Catholic High School. Ana was a member of St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield.

The most important aspect of Ana's life was her devotion to her family. She loved to spend time with family especially when everyone was all together.

She traveled the country with her children for various sporting events and was one of the best supporting fans at every contest. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren play and compete in sporting events. She also enjoyed movies and TV shows including "This is Us" and Dancing with the Stars."

Ana was the mother of three children: Andrea Hook (deceased) and son-in-law, Jason Hook, and their son, Brayden; James, husband of Stacey Hartung, and their children, Nathan and Mary; and Daniel, husband of Hilary Hartung, and their children: Mason, Vincent and Lucy.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church with burial to follow at Gethsemane Cemetery. A viewing will be held Friday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading.
