Amy R. Labe

Amy R. (Hayes) Labe, 85, of Reading, passed away October 31, 2012, in Berkshire Center.

Her husband, Walter H. Labe, died March 2, 2004.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Herbert B. and Eva (Zerbe) Hayes.

She was employed as a sewing machine operator for Dolphin's Sportswear, Mohnton, retiring in 1987.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda L. Labe, Laureldale, her sister, Bessie B. Eshelman, Millersville and her sister-in-law, Betty J. Payne, Reading.

Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Friends may call Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
