Alyssa E. Lower

Alyssa E. Lower, 18, of Oley, passed away suddenly Friday, March 30, 2012 at Hershey Medical Center.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of Kelly Lower and Dana Isley of Oley.

She was an 11th grade student at Oley Valley High School, and a member of Bethany United Methodist Church.

In addition to her loving parents, she is survived by a loving brother and sister, Ray and Elizabeth Lower of Oley; a paternal grandmother, Roberta Lower of Orrville, OH; a maternal grandmother, Charlotte Hilbert of Hamburg; a special aunt, Ann Isley of West Lawn; her Uncle Scott Isley and his wife Laurie of Broken Arrow, OK; her uncles Ken, Kirk, Scott, and Bob in OH; and many cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Blankenbiller Funeral Home, 423 Main St., Oley. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Easter Seals, 1040 Liggett Avenue, Reading, PA 19611.

Although Alyssa was never able to speak, she was a great teacher to all that knew her. She helped others to realize what is truly important in life and to stay positive through all challenges. She was sweet and stubborn. Her smile would light up any room she entered. While she was daddy's little girl, she will be missed by all who knew her.
