Alvina Mary Breckel

Alvina Breckel, age 64, of Oley, Pennsylvania, formerly of Winnetka, Il, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2013 in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.

She was born in Chicago to the late William C. and Liselotte (Hermann) Hefeli.

She was the loving wife of her loving husband Theodore (Ted).

Alvina graduated from Bradley University and earned a Master's Degree in Library Science from Rosary College (now Dominican University).

She had a career as an art teacher in the Chicago public schools and as a reference librarian at Oakton Community College in Des Plaines and Skokie, IL.

Services will take place on February 26, 2013 in Oley, where arrangements are by Blankenbiller Funeral Home, Inc. 423 Main St. Oley, PA 19547.
