Alverta K. Lyon

Alverta K. Lyon, 90, North Little Rock, Ark., formerly of Reading, died July 25 in Spring Hill Memorial Hospital, Little Rock, Ark.

Her husband, William H. Lyon, died Feb. 29, 1988.

Born in Greenwich Township, she was a daughter of the late George and Annie (Fink) Kramer.

Lyon was employed for 30 years as a punch-press operator by Elge Spark Wheel Co., Reading, retiring in 1977.

She was a member of Bern Lutheran Church, Bern Township.

Surviving is a son, Richard W., with whom she last resided.

Services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Friends may call from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m on Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Spring Township.
