Allen C. Schweitzer

Allen C. "Mooney" Schweitzer, 72, passed away in his Shillington residence, Wednesday, March 5th, 2025.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Paul and Ruth (Steffy) Schweitzer. Mooney, as he was known best, graduated Governor Mifflin High School and worked for over 30 years as a heavy equipment operator before his retirement in 2023.

Allen is survived by a son, Brian Schweitzer of Wyomissing; two grandchildren: Amaya and Isaac; two sisters and one brother. He was predeceased by his brother, Paul.

According to his wishes, services for Allen will be private.
