Allen L. Hartman, 64, of Windsor Township passed away on June 3rd in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. Preceded in death by his parents Allen D. and LaRue (Spatz) Hartman. Survivors include his loving wife, Darlene (Brobst) Hartman of 42 years. In addition to his wife, Allen is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Tiffany Hartman of Lebanon, Ohio; a daughter and son-in-law, Crystal and Jeffrey Baird II of Shillington; and 2 grandchildren, Madison and Colton Hartman also of Lebanon, OH. He is also survived by a brother, Bryan (Gayle) Hartman of Durham, NC and a sister, Kathleen (John) Reitz, West Lawn. Allen was born in Shartlesville, PA. He was a 1967 graduate of Hamburg Area High School and senior class president. Allen attended Pennsylvania State University, State College where he received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering in 1971. He worked for Worley Parsons, Green Hills as an Electrical Engineer, P.E. Allen worked there for 38 years, last working on May 29th. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Hamburg and Hamburg Moose Lodge #523. Allen enjoyed bluegrass music, playing the banjo, fishing and hunting. He was the banjo player of the former Blue Mountain Junction. A viewing will be held on Saturday, June 7th from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home, Inc. 40 S. 4th St., Hamburg, PA 19526. Funeral services to follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial at St. John's Cemetery, Hamburg.
