Allen L. Conrad, 76, of Poinciana Drive, Fort Myers, Fla., died Feb. 6 at 5:30 p.m. in Hope Hospice at Shell Point, Fort Myers, where he had resided one month.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Maeyon (Heckler) Conrad, in 1965, and by his second wife, Louise (Moyer) Conrad, in 1979.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late William T. and Catherine E. (Koch) Conrad.
Conrad was employed for 30 years by Metropolitan Edison Co. as a supervisor at its Titus Station, Cumru Township, retiring in 1982.
He was a 1945 graduate of Shillington High School.
Conrad was a Navy veteran of the Korean War.
He was a member of the Church of Siesta Bay, Fort Myers.
Surviving are two sons, Curtis A., Shillington, and Douglas A., Sinking Spring; and a daughter, Allynn L. Conrad, Temple.
Other survivors include a stepdaughter, Susan Oplinger, Philadelphia; and 10 grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a stepson, Kurt Oplinger, in 1998.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Spring Township.
