Allan E. Hahn, 54, of Penn Twp., died April 7, 2012 in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes, DE.

He was the husband of Catharine A. (Wagner) Hahn. They were married December 30, 1978.

Born in Reading, he was the son of Anna R. (DaDamio) Hahn, Temple and the late Arthur K. Hahn.

He was a graduate of Central Catholic High School in 1975 and attended Millersville University.

Since 2004 Al has been the president of Truckco, Inc., Leesport. Previously he was operations manager for ATV Bakery for 15 years.

He was a member of St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

From 1987 to 2000 Al was the boys basketball and baseball coach for St. Margaret's. He continued to coach football, baseball and softball as a assistant coach at Holy Name High School.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by three sons, Andrew R., husband of Rebecca Hahn, Lancaster; Matthew A., husband of Lindsey Hahn, Birdsboro; and Jeffrey A., husband of Heather Hahn, Mohnton. There is one brother, Arthur G., husband of Lisa Hahn, Lower Alsace Twp. Three grandchildren, Emma, Mason and A.J. also survive him.

He enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 11 a.m. in St. Margaret's Church. Friends may call Wednesday from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading and Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the church. Burial in Gethsemane Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: St. Margaret's Church, 925 Centre Ave., Reading, PA 19601 or Gift of Life, 401 N. 3rd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123.
