Alicia Caceres

Alicia Caceres, 85, of Reading, PA peacefully passed away, Monday, April 9, 2018 at Reading Hospital. She is survived by her children, Alicia Hernandez; Angel L. (Susan) Gomez, both of Reading; Maria (Theodore) Knesek, Chicago; Roberto (Rebecca) Pichardo of York, PA; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great grandchildren. She has one surviving sister, Milagros Perez, Reading.

Alicia was born in Las Piedras, PR. She was a Social Worker in NYC before becoming a teacher's assistant for the Reading School District in 1971 and retiring in 2009. She was also an elected official for the Missionary Department and an Ordained Minister for the Spanish Pentecostal Church A/G, Reading. Alicia enjoyed being a teacher in the Assemblies of God Bible Institute and Sunday School teacher.

Alicia was a hard-working woman and enjoyed reading but especially spreading the word of God. Most importantly she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, with burial to follow at Laureldale Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in honor of Alicia Caceres, to the Spanish Pentecostal Church A/G-Missions, PO Box 5953, Wyomissing, PA 19610. Edward J.
