Alice Venier

Alice Venier, 81, died June 25 in her residence at McCoy Lane, Bern Township.

Her husband, Victor Venier, died Sept. 20, 1978.

Born in Altro, Ky., she was a daughter of the late Edward and Jenny (Turner) Turner.

Surviving are two sons, Arthur, Hopewell Junction, N.Y., and Matthew, Kennesaw, Ga.; and four daughters: Julie (Venier) Covert, Fishkill, N.Y.; Edith (Venier) Bell, North Port, Fla.; Sue (Venier) Miele, with whom she resided; and Maryann (Venier) Derivan, Poughkeepsie, N.Y.

Other survivors include a brother, Roy Turner, Altro; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in the McHoul Funeral Home, Hopewell Junction. Burial will be in St. Denis Cemetery, Hopewell Junction. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
