Alice Socoloskie

Alice Socoloskie, 94, of Spring Township, passed away August 8, 2012 in ManorCare Sinking Spring.

She was the widow of Isadore Joseph Socoloskie.

Born in Shamokin, she was the daughter of the late William and Edith (Hummel) Snyder.

Alice was a graduate of Shamokin High School and Bloomsburg University.

She worked as a teacher for the Bensalem School District for over 24 years, retiring in 1979.

Alice is survived by her daughter, Victoria A., wife of Leonard Lichty, Spring Township. Also surviving are her brother, William Snyder, Tempe, AZ; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her son, Robert William Socoloskie in 2005.

Services will be Sunday at 12 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A viewing will be 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem . Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
