Alice M. Lellig

Alice M. Lellig, 96, formerly of Mount Penn, died Sept. 2 at 5:50 a.m. in the Lutheran Home at Topton, where she had resided since July 9.

Her husband, Bernard A. Lellig, died in 1958.

Born in Bern Township, she was a daughter of the late David H. and Carrie (Gromis) Weidner.

Lellig was last employed for 15 years as a seamstress by the Wide Awake Shirt Co., Reading, retiring in 1971.

She was a member of Schwarzwald United Church of Christ, Jacksonwald.

Surviving are a son, Terrence B., Glen Burnie, Md.; and a granddaughter.

Graveside services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
