Alice E. Leroy

Alice E. ( Ryczek) Leroy, 82 Reading, entered into eternal rest on December 23,2006, at the Reading Hospital where she had been a patient for 17 days.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA. on March 23, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Alice M. (Latoski) Ryczek-Zilkuski and Joseph Ryczek.

She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union and employed as a seamstress at Talbot Knitting Mills until its closing.

She was a 1942 graduate of Warrior Run High School, Luzerne County.

The Loving mother of three children will be sadly missed by her son, Gregory A. LeRoy, Reading, and two daughters, Carol A. (LeRoy) wife of Terry Brossman, Reading and Linda S. ( LeRoy) wife of Barry L. Witkosky, Reading.

Other surviors include a sister Helen (Ryczek) Farr, Reading; two Half brothers, Victor and Richard Zulkoski, Wilkes-Barre and a half sister, Jean (Zulkoski) Taddeo, Reading

There are five Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2006 in Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading with Pastor Brett Reider presiding.
