Alice L. Ulrich

Alice L. Ulrich, 94, of Lincoln Park, passed away Friday, December 12, 2014, in Phoebe Berks.

Her husband, John Henry Ulrich, passed December 12, 2005.

Born in Reading the daughter of the Mervin C. and Blanch Newirk.

She was a graduate of West Chester College, with a degree in Education. She was an Elementary School teacher for Lincoln Park Elementary School, and was also a devoted member of Lincoln Park Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school. She was also a devoted wife to John and her many friends.

She is survived by her son, Thomas R., and wife Nancy E. Ulrich of Shillington; two grandchildren, Alan, husband of Kara Ulrich of Wyomissing and Lee, husband of Tara Ulrich of Mt. Joy and two great-granddaughters, Emily Ulrich and Jillian Ulrich

Alice was predeceased by her brother, Thomas Newirk and her sister, Sally Boydletour.

Services will be held Friday at Phoebe Berks Chapel, 1 Reading Drive, Wernersville, PA 19565. Burial will be private in Laureldale Cemetery. Friends and family may visit on Friday, December 19 from 10 to 11 a.m. , services will begin at 11 a.m.. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Phoebe Berks at the above address.
