Alice S. Kershner

Alice S. (Seidel) Kershner, 96, formerly of Sinking Spring, died February 16, 2015, in Brighton Gardens of Charlotte, NC.

Her husband, David G. Kershner, died March 11, 1995.

Born in Morris Plains, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Emma (Forstler) Seidel.

She was a graduate of Reading High School and attended Kutztown State University.

Alice was an elementary school teacher for the Reading School District.

She was a member of Atonement Lutheran Church, Wyomissing.

Alice is survived by two children, Glenn D., husband of Jennifer Kershner, Longmont, CO and Pamela, wife of Charles Williams, Charlotte, NC; her brother, Robert, husband of Virginia Seidel, Edgewater, MD; her sister, Ruth Weitzel, Laureldale; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Friends may call Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
