Alice Emma Fitzgerald

Alice Emma (Heimbach) Fitzgerald, 94, died January 12, 2014 in the Lutheran Home at Topton.

She was married June 5, 1937 to Leon Henry Fitzgerald, who died March 8 ,1987.

Born July 3, 1919 in Washington Township, Montgomery County, she was a daughter of the late Warren B. and Lillie H. (Ganther) Heimbach.

She was employed 34 years as an inspector with Doehler Jarvis of Stowe, retiring in 1976.

Alice is survived three children: James E., husband of Martha L. (McFall) Fitzgerald of Colebrookdale Township; Leon H. II, husband of Linda R. (Wails) Fitzgerald of Millsboro, Delaware and Barbara Ann (Fitzgerald), wife of Barry L. Hoch of Earl Township.

Other survivors include nine grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren and 15 great great great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, Wayne C. Fitzgerald and three siblings: Edna Drumheller, Leroy J. Heimbach and Ida A. Heimbach.

Services will be Saturday at 10:00 am in Kuhn-Stitzel Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 423 Main Street, Oley, PA 19547. A viewing will be held Saturday from 9:00 am until time of service. Burial will be in Frieden's Cemetery, Oley. For online condolences, visit www.kuhnstitzelfuneralhomes.com
