Alice Clementine Donohue, 79, died of natural causes October 21st at 10:30 am in the Sinking Spring Borough residence of her God Daughter, Karen A. Schweitzer.
Born in New York City, New York, she was a daughter of the late John J. and Alice C. (McCormack) Donohue.
She was a 1943 graduate of St. Aphonsus High School, Manhattan, New York.
Donohue was employed as a bookkeeper for a number of years by Rose Construction, Yonkers, New York until her retirement.
She is also survived by two sisters, Jane E. (Donohue) Kearney of West Milford, New Jersey and Catherine M. Donohue of Pensacola, Florida.
Other survivors include two brothers, John J. Donohue Jr., of Manalapan, New Jersey and LeRoy M. Donohue of Allentown, Lehigh County.
A private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Chapel of St. George in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, PO Box 1131, Fairfax, Virginia 22038-1131. Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale is in charge of arrangements.
