Alfredo Hernandez Gonzalez

Alfredo Hernandez Gonzalez, 68, of Sheboygan, passed away Friday, January 14, 2022, in the care of St. Nicholas Hospital. He was the loving husband of 38 years to Iris Delgado. Born in Juncos, PR, to the late Abraham Hernandez and Ramona Gonzalez, Alfredo graduated high school and entered into military service. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.

Alfredo and Iris settled in Wisconsin when their daughter, Jennifer, was very young, and there they expanded their family. A man of great love and great faith, Alfredo served his community at home as a minister.

Left to treasure his memory is his wife, Iris; their children Jennifer Cedeno (Josue) of Reading; Angel Hernandez of Wausau, WI; Raymond Hernandez of Sheboygan; Jennifer Janet Hernandez of Reading; and Luis Alfredo Hernandez of New York, NY. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Josue Alfredo, Jeremias, Jahir, Jeniris, Luis Alfredo Jr., and one more expected grandson. The youngest of four children, Alfredo was predeceased by a sister.

Committal Services for Alfredo will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022, at 12:30 p.m. at the Berks County Memorial Gardens, 201 Evansville Rd, Fleetwood, PA 19522. Friends and family are welcome to gather at Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Ave, West Reading, PA 19611 beginning at 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
