Alfred Pietrobone

Alfred Pietrobone, 85, of West Reading, died December 8, 2009 in Reading Hospital.

He was the husband of Anna (Fabriziani) Pietrobone.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Joseph and Concetta (Varichone) Pietrobone.

Alfred was employed as a machinist by Textile Machine Works. Later he worked for 28 years for Western Electric and AT&T, retiring in 1987.

He was a lifetime member, trustee and Lodge member at Victor Emmanuel II; and a member of the Pioneers of Western Electric.

Alfred was a member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Reading.

He was an US Navy veteran serving in WWII.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Alfred and daughter Linda A. (Pietrobone) Sfingas, both of West Reading. There is one brother, Morris Pietrobone, Mohnton. One grandson, Kevin Martin and three great-grandchildren, Zachary Martin, Alyssa Martin and Haylee Martin also survive him.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
