Alfred John Fugo

Alfred John Fugo, 87, died May 6th at 9:20 pm in his residence at 504 Park Road South, Wyomissing.

He was married June 20, 1942 to Elsie Sarah (Denick) Fugo of Wyomissing.

Born in Conshohocken, Montgomery County, he was a son of the late Angelo and Catherine (Calmaldi) Fugo.

He worked as a heater for 42 years at Allenwood Steel Company, Conchohocken until 1977.

Fugo later worked in the shipping department for 10 years at World Electronics, Muhlenberg Township last working April 15th.

He is also survived by a daughter, Elaine M. (Fugo) wife of Joseph A. Rado of Wyomissing and three sons; John A. husband of Dorothy M. (Worrall) Fugo of East Norton, Montgomery County, Richard J. husband of Marie A. (Billetta) Fugo of Plymouth Meeting, Montgomery County and Robert J. Fugo of Wyomissing.

Other survivors include a brother, John Fugo of Conshohocken, Montgomery County, eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday 1:30 in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading. Viewing Thursday evening 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Ave., Reading, Pa 19605.
