Alexander J. Neal

Alexander J. Neal, 88, passed away September 1, 2015 in Manor Care, Sinking Spring.

Born in Lucca, Italy, he was the son of the late Elbert and Albertina (Bernardini) Neal.

Alexander was a U.S. Army veteran.

He worked as a margin clerk on Wall Street first working for Laird then later at American Express.

After retiring, he pursued his love of painting especially water color painting when he moved to Pennsylvania. He grew up in Astoria, NY and raised his family there. When he moved to PA he really enjoyed Nino's Pizza which reminded him of home.

He was the ultimate story teller.

He leaves behind his wife Phyllis (Hilbert) Coolick-Neal; his former wife, Jane (Donovan) Neal; eight children: Regina, Catherine, Alexis, Theresa, Alexander, Michael, Tara Jane and Martha; fifteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Alexander was predeceased by his daughter, Bernadette.
