Aldona A. Goletz

Aldona A. Goletz, 63, of Spring Twp., died February 7, 2013, in Kindred Transitional Care.

She was the wife of Bill Lafean.

Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Algard J. and Anna R. (Nitardi) Goletz.

She was a graduate of Governor Mifflin High School, 1967 and Harrisburg Hospital School of Nursing, 1970.

Aldona was an RN at Doctors Hospital, Washington DC and later at Berks Heim.

She was a verteran of the US Army serving during the Vietnam War.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her half sister, Kathleen Mendenhall, California.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, Reading. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be recorded at www.kuhnfuneralhome.com.
