Alberta A. Yaklowich

Alberta Alga (Pirone) Yaklowich, 86, formerly of 166 Gebhart School Road, Brecknock Township, died March 25th at 12:50 pm in ManorCare Health Services, Spring Township where she had been since December 18, 2003.

She was the widow of Martin J., who died February 10, 1995.

Born in Reading, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Augustus and Clementine (Biagianti) Pirone.

Yaklowich was the owner/operator of Al-Mar Draperies, Mohnton for over 25 years, retiring in 1990.

She was a charter member of St. Benedict's Roman Catholic Church, Robeson Township.

Yaklowich is survived by a nephew, Phillip Pirone of Exton, Pa., and five nieces, Alberta (Posey) Spehar of Wyomissing, Georgene Posey of Denver, Lancaster County, Mary Jane Posey of Lock Haven, Pa., Dorothy A. (Posey) Marello of Ephrata, Lancaster County and Virginia (Pirone) Wilkens of Scotch Plains, New Jersey.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10am in St. Benedict's Roman Catholic Church, 2020 Chestnut Hill Road, Mohnton, Pa 19540. Viewing 9 - 10am in church. Entombment will be in Gethsemane Mausoleum, Muhlenberg Township. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the church at the above address.
