Alberta M. Wummer

Alberta M. Wummer, 79, of Hyde Park, died May 9, 2008 in Berks Heim.

She was the wife of Richard L. Wummer.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Frieda (Loeper) Felix.

She was a graduate of Central Catholic High School in 1947.

Alberta worked at Mae's Flower Shop, Reading for several years before raising her children.

She was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two sons, Nicholas K. and Andrew D., both of Laureldale; and her four daughters, Roxane L. Gilbert, Dunedin, FL, Cynthia B. Feltenberger, Laureldale, Denise M. Wummer, Hyde Park and Donna Holowis, Glenmore. There are one brother, Richard Felix, York and one sister, Gertrude (Felix) Walter, Reading. Seven grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and four step great-grandchildren also survive her. She was predeceased by two sons, Timothy A. and Craig M.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Holy Guardian Angels Church, 3121 Kutztown Road, Reading, PA 19605. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Contributions may be made to Holy Guardian Angels Church.
