Alberta A. Schwartz

Alberta A. Schwartz, 84 of Mt. Penn died April 24 at 5:45 PM in Beverly Manor where she had been since April 22.

She was the wife of Clarence W. Schwartz. Her first husband Arthur G. Hartenstine died in April of 1954.

Born in Reading she was the daughter of the late Harold L. and Myrtle (Trupp) Schaeffer.

In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons, A. David Hartenstine, Lincoln Park, NJ and Donald G. Hartenstine, Mt. Penn. There are 3 brothers, Robert L. Schaeffer, Myerstown, Lebanon Co., Jack K. Schaeffer, Spring Hill, FL, and Harold F. Schaeffer, Brookville, FL. and one sister Arlene Schaeffer, in South Carolina. Other survivors include 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Services will be Thursday at 11 AM in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading. Entombment in Forest Hills Mausoleum. Friends may call Thursday 10 to 11 AM at the funeral home. The family requests no flowers please. They also made no specific requests for contributions.
