Albert F. Woodring

Albert Franklin Woodring, Jr., 73, of Reading, died of natural causes September 16th at 7:20 pm in St. Joseph Medical Center, where he had been since September 3rd.

He was the husband of Dorothy Mae (Undercuffler) Woodring, whom he married March 3, 1953.

Born in Reading on April 3, 1933, he was a son of the late Albert F. Sr., and Elizabeth Woodring.

He was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War.

Albert was employed 40 years as a mixer and grinder at Berks Packing, Reading, retiring in 1993.

He was a member of Goodwill Fire Company Beneficial Association, Hyde Park.

Albert is also survived by a daughter, Renee L. wife of Brian J. DeGreen of Spring Township and a son, Dennis A. husband of Deborah M. (Sitlinger) Woodring of Muhlenberg Township.

Other survivors include several brothers and sisters.

There are also four grandchildren, Michael P. Woodring, Clifford J. Woodring, Alissa M. DeGreen and Amber A. DeGreen.

Services will be Wednesday at 10:30 am in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home, Inc., Laureldale with Rev. Randall A. Grossman officiating. Viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township. www.christfuneralhome.com
