Albert T. "Bud" Sonon III, former Muhlenberg Township business owner, died of natural causes Aug. 13 at 8:41 p.m. in the emergency room at Reading Hospital.
Sonon, 53, of Woodhill Drive, Ruscombmanor Township, was the husband of Linda R. (Rohrbach) Sonon.
He was the president and owner of Penn-Lyn Photographic Lab, Muhlenberg Township, from 1977 to 1999.
Born in Reading, he was a son of Albert T. Sonon Jr., Temple, and the late Margaret (Boyer) Sonon.
Sonon was employed for the past four years as a financial adviser by Merrill Lynch, Wyomissing, last working Wednesday.
He was a 1968 graduate of Muhlenberg High School and the Allentown Technical School.
Sonon was a member of the Spring Valley Church of God, Muhlenberg Township, where he was the church clerk from 1993 to 2003; president of the building committee and former church council member.
He was president of the Oley Valley Youth League from 1983 to 1990.
Sonon was a past president of Sales and Marketing Executives of Reading.
Sonon was a former deacon and elder at Christ United Church of Christ, Temple.
He is also survived by two daughters, Kelly L. and Becky L. Sonon, both of Fleetwood; and three sons: Sean P., Blandon; Albert T. IV, Athens, Ga.; and Andrew T., at home.
Other survivors include two brothers, William and Chris, both of Fleetwood.
There are also two grandsons.
Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Spring Valley Church of God. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery, Tuckerton. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
