Albert T. Jones

Albert T. Jones, 80, of Shoemakersville, passed away December 9, 2014, in Reading Hospital.

He was predeceased by his wife, Joyce (Roth) Jones.

Born in Coaldale, he was a son of the late Henry F. and Eva (Goodman) Jones.

Albert was a U.S. Air force veteran.

He was employed as a machine operator for Penn Optical, Reading, for 39 years.

Albert was a member of Epler's Church, Leesport.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Albert also looked forward to taking his son to Connie Mack Stadium.

He was an avid sports fan. He especially loved watching the Phillies and Eagles.

Albert is survived by his son, Gregory A. Jones, companion of Bonnie E. Johnson, Reading; two step-children, Scott R. Cullen, companion of Harriet M. McMannus, Hamburg and Mistee M., wife of Michael J. Atkins, Shartlesville; four siblings, Kenny, John, Cathy and Irene and five grandchildren.

He was predeceased by three brothers, Bertram, David and Robert.

Services will be Monday at 10 a.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611. Burial will be in Epler's Cemetery.
