Albert D. Forrest

Albert D. "Scott" Forrest, III, 62, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023 in his East Earl residence. He was the loving husband of Mary Catherine (Reilly) Forrest, with whom he shared 41 years of marriage.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Albert D. Forrest, Jr and Mary (Campbell) Forrest. He worked at PGW in Philadelphia for over 15 years and retired. He was working as an advanced project manager in data analysis at First Energy. Scott was a talented woodworker, and a musician who colud master any instrument he picked up. He wrote many songs, two very special ones for his two children. He would spend many years camping around the campfire, playing his songs for hours.

Scott was the best at Dad jokes, and drove his kids and grandkids crazy with them. He had a terrific sense of humor.Scott will live in our hearts forever!

Left to cherish his memory are wife, MaryCatherine; son, Albert D. Forrest IV of East Earl; daughter, Erin (husband Nathan) Babe of Wilmington, DE; grandchildren: Albert D. Forrest V, Jayden, Gabrielle, and Fiona; and sister, Karen Isola (David) of New Jersey.

Scott was predeceased by his sister, Rosemary Reigle.

A service will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 11:00 am at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc. 739 Penn Avenue West Reading, PA 19611. Friends and relatives are invited to gather at the funeral home from 10:00 until the time of service. Burial will follow at Robeson Lutheran Cemetery in Plowville.
