Albert J. Brailer, 80, died Nov. 28 in his Reading residence.
He was the husband of Jane E. (Wagner) Brailer.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Albert J. and Marian (Osterle) Brailer.
Brailer had been employed for 35 years as a mechanical engineer by Gilbert Associates Inc., Reading, retiring in 1985.
He was a member of St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church, Reading.
Brailer was a 1943 graduate of Reading High School, and received a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Villanova University, Philadelphia, in 1953.
He was past secretary of the Reading Amateur Radio Club for 35 years and was an organist and pianist at area senior citizen centers for several years.
Brailer has no additional survivors.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Margaret's RC Church. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., West Reading, is in charge of arrangements.
