Alba Lilian Abarca

Alba L. Abarca, de 67 años, de Temple, falleció en su casa el martes 22 de febrero de 2022. Nacida en Ilobasco, El Salvador, hija de Rosa del Transito Henríquez y María Elida Abarca, fallecidas, Alba llegó a Reading hace unos 24 años.

Uno de once hijos, Alba creció en una familia numerosa y amorosa. Amaba a su familia y atesoraba a sus sobrinas y sobrinos como si fueran sus propios hijos. Era una mujer muy fiel que oraba siempre. Cuando pudo, asistió a misa en la iglesia de St. Margaret.

También disfrutaba del baile y la música.

A Alba le sobreviven sus hermanos y hermanas, Hilda, Rosaura, Miguel, Lázaro, Oscar, Marlene, Arnulfo, Sara, Magdalena y Aracely. También le sobreviven sus amados sobrinos y sobrinas.

La visualización se llevará a cabo el Viernes 4 de marzo de 2022 de 6 p.m. a las 9 p.m. en Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc, 5153 Kutztown Rd, Temple PA 19560 y nuevamente el sábado de 8 am a 8:30 am. Se llevará a cabo un servicio junto a la tumba el sábado 5 de marzo de 2022 a las 9 am en Gethsemane Cemetery, 3139 Kutztown Rd, Reading, PA 19605.

Alba L. Abarca, 67, of Temple, passed away in her home on Tuesday, February 22, 2022. Born in Ilobasco, El Salvador, to the late Rosa del Transito Henriquez and Maria Elida Abarca, Alba came to Reading about 24 years ago.

One of eleven children, Alba grew up in a large and loving family. She loved her family and treasured her nieces and nephews as if they were her own children. She was a very faithful woman who prayed always. When able, she attended mass at St. Margaret's Church.

She also enjoyed dancing and music.

Alba is survived by her brothers and sisters, Hilda, Rosaura, Miguel, Lazaro, Oscar, Marlene, Arnulfo, Sara, Magdalena, and Aracely. She is also survived by her many beloved nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Friday, March 4, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc, 5153 Kutztown Rd, Temple PA 19560, and again Saturday, March 5, from 8:00 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. A graveside service will be held Saturday March 5, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. at Gethsemane Cemetery, 3139 Kutztown Rd, Reading PA 19605.
